My art education started in second grade when I enrolled in after-school art classes.
-
I continued my evening lessons until I had to go to high school.
-
I applied to an art oriented high school so my skills would improve. I made it in,
and after graduation went to Saint-Petersburg High Art-Industrial College. Here
I became more familiar with fabrics and other practical media.
-
I work as an art teacher, paint murals and sell batiks at
Torpedo Art Factory in
Alexandria, VA.

- I have been drawing for as long
as I can remember. My parents told me that I created my first mural when I just
started to walk. I took colored pencils and drew several abstract pictures on the
walls and on the doors of my parents' appartments. Well, they didn't get my art,
but they understood that I have some talent.
- When I was five years old, my parents
sent me to an art school. Later I worked as an art teacher in Sevastopol's Palace
of Childhood and Youth, where I made my first professional murals.
- In Virginia I
painted several murals in Northern Virginia Community College, in kindergartens,
and in Inligua English Center.
-
My style is realistic, and sometimes impressionistic.
Landscapes, seascapes, flowers, and dreamlike fantasies are my favorite themes
